I'll trust Mirabal to figure it out but I'm not sure Rivers has the raw power to be a high level guard. But our depth of talent has gotten vastly better so I'm glad we have that problem.

Is that really true or was nepotism involved ? One thing I noticed about McCoy is when he came in during plays as a 6th o lineman we picked up the necessary 1st down most of the time. He has a great chance to start this year and then we'll see for sure.

The UA game had Lagway & Graham for the Gaytes. McCoy was there for the Noles. Not sure if either had kids in the Army game.

Yeah back then Bama, Ohio State, Auburn, FsU was at peak Jimbo so very good and then 1 or two other squads yearly alternated great years. Definitely more parity now with the portal spreading out talent.

At this point qb aside it's only the secondary that's subpar but Bama even in that 2008-2014 time had 1 game wrecker rb & receiver. We've improved those groups with Mario but we haven't had a Mark Engram/Julio Jones. We find those types awhile upgrading the secondary and we can win with a game...

Pickett didn't look as light as I anticipated, at least not to the naked eye while in pads. He definitely has the frame to grow, not like a narrow Cyrus Moss body at all.
