    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

Great point. That delusion is real.

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

Not right now. Give it a year or three to five.

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

You make a valid point. It is hard for any coach to keep his job after three consecutive losing seasons. However, everything needs to be reevaluated within the basketball program. From conditioning, strength training, nutrition and player development. Miami has more than a coaching issue when...

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

Verbal abuse to other coaches and players is frown upon these days. No one is supporting a wanna be Bobby Knight these days.

Marshall was a loose cannon who should never coach again. Soon you will know, what can Brown do for you! Wichita State gave him a 5 year contract so obviously they knew it was time to move on.

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

They were projected to finish 7th in the AAC at the beginning of the year and they are currently in second place. This is after 6 scholarship players and a walk on left due to Marshall. Hard to dispute those results. For the record, no. Marshall should be off limits like Pitino.

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

Actually, Isaac Brown replaced Greg Marshall and the team is playing better under him than Marshall. So good that they gave Brown the job permanently.

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

I could be wrong but IMO, football should pay for itself and all other sports except baseball and men's basketball. If baseball and men's basketball are being ran properly, those two sports should generate more than enough money to be self sufficient. Between going to the tournament or College...

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

I have read the previous post about contracts and buyouts but let's be honest about something that is very important. At most schools, the football team generates the revenue to pay for all the other sports. Along with the TV deal at the Power 5 schools. Miami should not be in this group. Yes...

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

I would put more value in a young coach who is a great recruiter first along with a staff full of great recruiters. I would like one assistant coach to work with the PGs, one with the wing players and one with the bigs on skill development. I am not saying Xs and Os don't matter but let's get...

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

If the job becomes available after the season, Cuonzo is not a bad choice but he would not be my first choice. IMO, you would want to follow the Gonzaga or Baylor model where you get a young coach who is a good recruiter who will be with your program for a decade plus.

    Cuonzo Martin as Miami's HC?

If is hard for any coach in any sport above high school to keep his job after three straight losing seasons. Given that the football and baseball team were ranked this season, at some point, you have to take a closer look at your basketball program. Let's not forget, when ran properly, men's...
