In fairness to Vernon Carey Jr, our ball screen offense does not really fit his game. Vernon needs the ball and he needs multiple touches in the post to be effective. Miami has done a terrible job of developing post players and playing through the post the past few seasons. No disrespect but I...

You might be right but I don't feel that way. I think Cole Anthony is going to wait until after the college basketball season ends and the draft process has completed so he knows exactly who will be on the team when he decides to pick a school. Hypothetically, Miami would be in a pretty good...

You list is full of the success stories but there have been over 50 kids who attempted to go straight to the NBA and failed. It is not an exact science and it also depends on what you define as success.

All potential "one and done" kids are not alike. Most of them need to go to college so their skills can be properly evaluated against better competition. Lebron was the exception to this rule but Kevin Durant kinda confirms it.

I hope he is a leader and he realizes that it is not the school that puts you in the NBA, it is the talent of the individual. Averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds is what will put him in the NBA and not the name on the front of the uniform.
