    Actually, Miami doesn't pull offers. Or at least hasn't recently. Our staff would give "non commitable" offers to Plan B type kids. Occasionally, they'd offer a kid but go cold on him (sitkowski) and make it obvious they were no longer interested with the expectation that the kid would decommit...

    Between kids transferring, kids leaving early and kids failing to qualify, it's impossible to ensure an exact 85 scholarship roster every year. Unless you're actively pulling kids' scholarships to stay under the cap. Most schools are operating in the area of 80-82.

    You hate to see it happen but that's the way college football is going these days. Dropping kids you gave an offer to seems like a **** move but when the rest of the nation has no problem doing it, we can't afford to be the nice guy. Hopefully it doesn't have to happen a lot.
