As I said, Briles was at the top of Ole Miss' list. I never said Ole Miss was at the top of his. It's pretty clear he has better opportunities (hi!). That said, that's a good hire by Lane IMO.

Just so you guys know, Briles is at the top of Kiffin's list to replace Lebby supposedly. Wonder how the anti-Briles Kiffin slurpers will rationalize that one away.

Good post, I liked it last week and I wish I could like it again. Legit alpha. What's interesting to me is that some of the same people here who were clamoring for Lane as HC are the same people tearing down Briles, who was incredibly successful... as Lane's OC at FAU.
