Those guys would be meh in this offense. There’s no space and play design by this staff to get the same matchups. Lashlee stayed scheming guys wiiiiiide open. From Mallory , Rooster , Arroyo, Harley , Rambo and Brevin the year before. Rambo got all those 1 v 1 ‘s because of scheme.

The whole hiring process was weird. Most coaches want their own guys under them , beens they’re helping you teach your offense / defense. But Mario wanted to bring his guys from Oregon but none of those guys were coordinators. I imagine that’s why the search took so long.
