Coaches don’t want to waste a spot on st’s, most kickoffs go in the end zone now and there’s never any returns. So other than fg’s and punts they’ve been eliminated. It’s no viewed as a third of the game. They want guys who coach a position group to take that on. Or a head coach like urban.
