    Another perfect example of government regulation having (completely predictable) "unintended consequences." This will result in many sports being cut because most of them don't bring in money. It's one thing to give them scholarships, another to pay them on top of it.

    I think the bigger issue is what we're seeing with transfers + NIL. It puts good programs (with less money) at a distinct disadvantage. Thinking mainly of Jordan Addison situation right now with tampering; we probably have done it, too. I think that's what people don't like as much. Not sure how...
