I am expecting at least one player on our team, who should have left, to be extended another year on scholarship.

Hypothetically, I believe he is eligible immediately. Plus you have a very good replacement for Brooks next year. I know it says PF but at 6'9 and 260, I would be fine with him in the middle.

This would have been (almost) the equivalent of getting a big time Center in HS. We have deadweight, he easily was worth the risk of a scholarship especially at a position of need.
