I don't know what we do exactly, so I'm not saying our approach is right or wrong. I'm just a little concerned about the perception with local kids. And I'm a little concerned with the fact that we're playing with kids like Battle. Just simply bringing the issue/discussion to light.

Both kids were considered on the same level. In that case, the one who commits first gets the spot. These coaches only save spots for "can't misses".

The biggest decision you've ever had to make is whether to put regular or premium in your Scion. You're a biased fan who has no idea what this process is like for a big time recruit. Most of these kids are making business decisions and are not die-hard fans.

Just playing devil's advocate. You think a kid that wasn't even alive the last time we were dominant is going to look at a late UM offer as a "reward" when he already has offers from Bama, Michigan, Ohio State, etc? I don't think so.
