Upon Further Review: Manny Diaz as DC

Don't forget the Trustees, who give millions of dollars of their own money to watch us lose! If only we could take casual fans with zero experience in athletic administration, university administration, or coaching football at anything beyond the peewee level, and put them in charge. Then we...

OH THAT'S ME! I lived in Hecht for a summer therefore I want the football program to fail!

Statistically speaking, this happens with the extreme vast majority of CFB head coaches, and therefore would be highly expected. Making it, yet another dumb premise.

Correct. But that doesn't make it a huge sample size. If we flip a coin three times, and that's all we'll ever get, and they're heads all three times, it doesn't make it a large sample size, nor does it make it indicative of the reality of the underlying trend.

Here's what the vast majority of you don't understand about statistics: the strength of the data increases as the amount of data increases. Almost everything we look at regarding football is a relatively small sample size. Three seasons really is not that many games, on a statistical basis...

People that "always say stats are..." usually don't understand statistics, at all.

Inadequately prolix to be representative of that douche, but overall apt.

You and I both know you couldn't hold yourself for five seconds in an actual discussion about statistics. Go back to negging all my posts, which is all you're capable of, loser.

We have statistics because eye tests are fraught with bias.

There's gotta be a way you can factor in opponents average starting field position, which would render yards per play less significant because of the shorter field.

I'd argue the sample size wouldn't be large enough to render the results significant.
