Rumph and his coaching effect on our secondary in 2020

I hear you but the comparison is highly flawed. I'm not defending Rumph, I'm just saying there's (naturally, always) a bias toward people or things that go wrong than go right. Bottom line, CB play has been by and large awful for years. Some guys have developed but the recruiting leaves...

We don't know that it's Rumph's call to play Ivey. I'll bet he doesn't start next week. Regardless, Blades locked down the other side. So do we blame Rumph for Ivey but not give him credit for Blades?

What exactly are you putting in black and white? I'm not colorblind. But keep defending a bad player. You sound really bright.

No. He's great. @Calvin says I just need to learn about football. Apparently what you want in a CB is giving up easy TD's because you don't look for the ball in the air and being five yards away from the receiver you're covering at all times.

Right? I really need to learn about football. Can you explain to me how great Ivey played last night? Allowing a bad TD and getting absolutely beaten like a drum on a pass that was underthrown by five yards. That's good right? You come back at me after the game in which Ivey looked like the...

So... it's a new season. How's it going for Ivey so far?

Well, I'm not a CB, and neither is 99.9999999% of people that watch. So, this comment is completely pointless. I'm sure you've totally forgotten that play, otherwise, you'd be an *******, right?

Hopefully, at this point, A LOT of the youth starts taking over both sides of the ball. Of the players we saw (extensively) on D last year that are returning this year, the only ones I feel great about are Blades and Bolden. For the offense, Harris and Jordan. No one else has proven...

I'm assuming this is a link to a page about the difference between one word and two words, but I've been up on that since about the first grade. Thanks though!

I'm not gonna begrudge anyone that puts on orange and green and puts their body on the line to play the game, for us to watch, UNLESS they do something deliberately to hurt the team or program (see Ray Armstrong, Quan, Figueroa/Blue, et al). I'm also really not into bashing players. I'm not...

I know enough about football to know "head coach" is actually two words. But please, enlighten me about your DECADES of experience coaching D1 football. I can't wait to hear all about it.

I hear you, but I also don't think it works that way. The play in and of itself was indicative of the team last season. Not sure what to do? F--K IT! Just stand there! All the excuses for the D based on how atrocious the O was are reasonable, but they share plenty of blame for giving up as...

Dude could look like Honey Badger this season for all I care. Nothing erases that. He's the kid who **** his pants in 3rd grade. People don't forget.

That fake punt should have rescinded his scholly. That was literally, without any question, the worst play I have ever seen a Miami Hurricane be part of in 30 years of watching the team. I don't care what he thought he was supposed to do or what he thought might happen. He let his guy run...

Right? I remember winning so many championships with guys who just stood there and let dudes run by them for touchdowns. Hallmark of championship teams.

The problem with this is you are assuming Ivey has any ability to play football. Let Blades play both CB spots.
