He does not play like it.

Lol, no he isn't. One is an elite runner at the college level. The other clearly isn't. Martell has advanced QB skills. Milton is a system QB in a mid tier conference. Manizel ran for over 1400 yards and had 21 rushing TDs as a freshman. I don't think you realize how good Manizel actually is...

This was Johnny, a lot of people forget how rare of an athlete he was. While Martell isnt a bad athlete, he is NO WHERE NEAR Manizel.

Not even close. What you have to realize is Johnny was a special athlete. Even without a great deal of speed, Manizel had tremendous feet and ability that helped him extend plays and he had elite agility that helped him avoid tackles. He was like a walking first down at the college level...

He wasn't beating out Fields. Fields is a top 2 pick in 2021 with Lawrence. Fields was highly rated even in sparingly mins by PFF. Even higher than Lawrence during the season, pre-bowls.

We have to remember. Enos pro style is the modern NFL pro style. Not the old i-form. Short passing game, we may use that for short yardage but not as often. Enos pro style is more McVay than Chip Kelly. Considering our OL isn't the biggest, I am sure we are going to mix a lot of short yardage...

They both have great feet. They both have the ability to throw on the run. Both have electric eyes (Cat eyes) to scan the field and find an open target They both throw WR's and TE's open. None of that I know the route and I am just going to throw it to a spot which is good but not if you are...

I hate to say it but even with us winning, no way is he a 1 and done QB. He will need all three years like Mayfield. He has some kinks he needs to iron out but without question, he is working off of a great base. I clearly see why OSU went with Fields. In that system, he is just insane and he...

I have no doubt Martell would have struggled in that system. You really have to mix simple and complex with Martell. His Football IQ is extremely high but he can get chaotic in the pocket as J.T. Barrett talked about in a presser. Enos system is a lot more friendly to his strengths but make no...

Mayfield arm is extremely live. Martell is decent. Martell is really going to have to make a living like Brees on footwork and extreme accuracy as well as feel for the game. He is also extremely slippery in the pocket which is a great thing.

His eyes are my favorite trait. All of rhe great short passing QBs got it. Wilson Mayfield Brees Tua
