I understand that, my point was that with the May 1st deadline, if guys haven't already entered they have to sit the following year.

But why not spend it on him and get the # 1 we need. Have to believe we have some guys on the roster who can solid # 2’s.

Unless they’re already in the portal they’d have to sit next year.

If we don’t get him I don’t believe it will be because we didn’t make a strong financial offer.
