    Canes v. FIU

Lingard looks a lot more decisive than the other backs. Perry and Lingard both seem to make confident and quick reads, even when they’re wrong, which is good.

    Canes v. FIU

Using the LBs to get pressure on third down is a little bit like Front four is getting pressure, I just don’t understand wasting 3 more bodies on it.

    Canes v. FIU

Yeah he’s not a top 25 caliber QB, talent-wise. I think his fundamentals and presence never developed because he’s never comfortable in the pocket. He probably would have been a better fit and would have developed more in an offense with less pre snap reads.

Suggesting that Rosier has talent that would be better suited for a different system makes me his father?

    Canes v. FIU

I could be wrong. But when I think of “bad quarterbacks,” I think about how people would say Tim Tebow didn’t complete 55% of his passes in practice lol.

    Canes v. FIU

Nah I genuinely believe that Rosier is bigger, stronger, faster, and can throw a football better than most CFB QB’s. He’s not a top-25 starting QB. But we’ll also never know what he looks like with some growth, because he never even completely understood the offense. We obviously see that Perry...

The D Line is exceptional. It’s troubling that on 3rd and long we don’t have anyone in coverage and the DBs are on an island. The front four are getting pressure by themselves. Against FIU it’s not really an issue because the talent isn’t there, but it feels like nobody is doing any kind of...

Rosier is extremely talented. Read options are not one of the those talents. I almost pity him. He could probably start on most CFB teams. He could definitely run Orgerons simple *** 2 TE offense.

Could be the case. I’ve never seen them practice.

RIcht is an excellent recruiter. I was responding to the concept that he is beyond reproach.

    Canes v. FIU

RIcht has seen Perry and Rosier in practice everyday for almost two seasons in a row. He knows that Perry understand how to make a quick read and Rosier does not. So why would he keep forcing Rosier to run an offense that he doesn’t understand? Or keep running it burn put the guy in that does...

    Canes v. FIU

Perry makes decisions so much faster than we’re used to. Even when he makes two bad reads in a row it’s still 3rd-and-short instead of 3rd and 9

    Canes v. FIU

Y’all really shouldn’t ish on Rosier. He just didn’t understand Richts offense, and he’s still our backup QB. Perry is a 195 Lb teenager and we’re about to start conference play. Rosier is about as serviceable as a backup QB gets in CFB

    Four straight 3rd and shorts

    Canes v. FIU

Perry understands the fundamentals of making quick reads. I wonder if the offense can slowly start to grow and become more complex over the next season.

    Canes v. FIU

Holy **** we’ve had three straight third and shorts

    Canes v. FIU

Perry made two bad reads, but he made a read and executed it immediately and it’s 3rd and 4 instead of 3rd and 8

    Canes v. FIU

Perry needs every snap for the rest of the season. He’s clearly the QB of the future, and this isn’t a championship team this year. Why would he not get the maximum amount of experience possible?
  19. C

    Canes v. FIU

It’s probably incredibly frustrating for 10 guys to make the same read, and the QB goes in a different direction

    Canes v. FIU

Perry is making instant reads and doing it with confidence. He’s going to make some mistakes, we should be patient, once he starts second guessing he’ll just be Rosier with better accuracy
