Wrong. The existing proposal that the SEC developed included 6 automatic qualifiers to the 6 highest ranked conference champions.

Good for the Alliance. The proposed expansion plan was something in the best interests of the SEC, Notre Dame and the non-P5 conferences (including the Big 12). There was nothing about the proposal that benefited the ACC, Big Ten or Pac 12, and those that developed and proposed it should have...
