That's a stretch to call a 19-20 year old who had 2 kids before he graduated high school as "smart kid". Whether these allegations are true or false, he's definitely not a smart kid.

When dismissal is warranted, you absolutely do want a high profile dismissal. The last think you want is a high profile nondismissal.

You ever walked into a reputable law firm and seen somebody working there with neck tattoos and insane hair like that? How about an investment bank? How about an reputable accounting firm? Sure, McDonalds will hire you all day long, but your chances of getting any kind of white collar job are...

He allegedly threw a woman that is 8 months pregnant to the ground. The extent of injuries here isn't really all that relevant.

No, parents and other adults continuing to set lower and lower expectations for children as they are developing is what perpetuates the cycle.

Congrats on your own personal story, but individual anecdotes aren't really relevant to childhood development. It's a fact that the expectations parents and other adults in childrens' live set significantly impact the development of those children. Just because it didn't negatively impact you...

I'm not talking about people using that as an excuse to act like a child. I'm talking about an epidemic of low expectations that adults have for children as they are growing up. This results in a slowing of the maturation process and more and more people acting like kids well into their adult years.

Unfortunately, it's a cycle. Tae was likely a victim of the same "you can't pick your parents" plight, and now his kids have very little chance in life.

When you call them kids, that likely means you think of them as kids, which likely means you treat them like kids. When you do that, you set expectations too low and it stunts the maturation process.

19-20 years are not kids. The mentality of thinking of people of that age as kids is when leads to the major lack of accountability we see these days.

The fact that rhetorical question was one of the first things that popped in your head after learning about this, really says a lot about you as a person honestly. As if the highly inappropriate and perverted avatar you use didn't say enough.

You should have just kept it in your own head then. It's a completely irrelevant thing to even ask.

    1. He's not a kid. 2. He doesn't think. Never has.

I'm going to stop you right there with "what could the mother have possibly done to enrage him..." That's a shameful form of victim blaming.

Pretty sad when the local jail doesn't have to take a new mugshot when they book you, but instead just use a previous mugshot. Hence my comment about this kid being a poor decision making machine. It was a miracle he ever made it onto Miami's campus and it would have been a bigger miracle if he...

I'll also add that I've always been of the mindset that it would be a miracle if Tae ever saw the field at Miami. It's well documented that he's been of a machine at making poor decisions, so this unfortunately was in no way surprising.

Just when we thought things were starting to look up for us. At least we have a pretty loaded safety room, and maybe this will improve our chances with some highly rated safety prospects in the 2022 class.
