I realize that; however, in order to be able to go on the road recruiting, he has to have been elevated (at least temporarily) to an on field position. That means that at least one of our offensive on field coaching positions has not yet been filled.

The fact that Cooney is out on the road recruiting means either he is the new WR coach OR we still don’t have the coaching spots filled on the offense and they made him a temp recruiting coach. Either way, that’s not a great development.
