Definitely a huge win for the good guys. After the way our boys got trounced the first couple of games, this was a big win and much needed statement. Those jabronies badly wanted to pull out the brooms out on us, and our dudes told them suck it in front of a packed and hostile crowd.

As @Number1CanesFan stated earlier, you don’t take a pitcher out that is dominating opposing hitters. You can’t always count on a pitcher being at his best, not even Ziehl or Walters. Tony LaRussa used to do that all the time, and it would be frustrating to watch him do it.
