i understand your point, but.... some mistakenly thought it was obvious Troy Aikman was trash and would never succeed when the Cowboys, with Future Hall of Famers all over, went 1-15. sometimes a poor team with a a couple of great players can't do it on their own.

I don't know which one I'd take... but two observations: 1. Avery Johnson is the much faster/better runner. 2. The camera used to film Avery was much more high resolution than the camera used to film Emory. :-)

I agree that if you look at the data, odds are better (percentagewise) for a 5 star to make nfl than a 4 star, than a 3 star, and so on. part of that is that when a top school offers a kid, that kid's star rating go up. and... the coaching and exposure they'll get at that top school is of...
