    Spring Game Question

yea... Shalala and the trustee board failed here, big-time. In my 18-year affiliation with the university I can’t say they’ve been as aggressive in acquiring real estate as they could’ve been. Law school should’ve been downtown and that Miami Arena plot could have been ours as well. Should have...

    Spring Game Question

I had friends do the same and decide to drive from Boca as well, but Games are on Saturdays and traffic shouldn't be a problem getting to the tri-rail.
  3. Bunker Mentality

    Spring Game Question

Sadly, I agree; it makes way too much sense and that's not what we do in Miami. Hopefully, somewhere down the road, the right interests (egos & bank accounts) can align to make it possible. Maybe someone powerful (rich) gets ambitious (egotistical) enough to make a bid (pay) for the summer games...

    Spring Game Question

Downtown would be the best of both worlds. A few more students would attend, and with tri-rail you'd still have long-distance access options for Broward and North Dade people beyond driving. It's 2020 and we need to think outside the box as a city and tri-county region. Increase tri-rail and...

    Spring Game Question

I have season tickets and grew up 10 minutes from there but it's just too far from campus... As a student, the metro ride to Culmner or Civic center was awesome. The old Miami Area, Design District or Miami Herald sites would have been a great options for a new stadium as well.

    Spring Game Question

    1. Stanford campus 8,180 acres :: []__[]Miami campus 239 acres 2. Wrong lake Osceola, chief. Plus, it would be a tough sell to fill the lake in this climate-sensitive political environment. 3. The Watasco Center is still missing seats behind the baskets in the upper tier because the city...
  9. Bunker Mentality

    Spring Game Question

yea... I don't wanna come off like a snob but a lot of these dudes never been on campus, and they don't understand how small the []__[] is or what Coral Gables is all about. They get overly-emotional (as if any fan disagrees with the concept of having an on-campus stadium) when, in actuality...
