These projections/regional pairings make no sense at all and would be a slap in the face to college baseball, although that is what we've come to expect. Us potentially opposite ND, Oregon St opposite Oregon, etc. - how boring. I sure hope the NCAA shows a little more respect this year and...

While that may be their stated objective, I suspect it's still pretty subjective when assigning #14 vs #15, for example. So, unless one conference has 6 - 7 host sites, I'd still be surprised if we see it. Time will tell.

Doubt that would happen. They typically try to avoid same conference super regionals. An SEC, Big 12 or someone like Dallas Baptist, GA Southern, etc. are more likely to be opposite us IMO.

Let's hope we prove both of them right.

We're still getting a lot of love from BA, but the shine is coming off other ACC teams - we're the only national seed in this projection that includes 3 SEC and 3 Pac 12 teams in Top 8. I doubt two conferences get 3/4 of the national seeds.

I'd be ecstatic if we get this seed and pairings on Memorial Day.
