Three returning everyday starters. A few of the incoming freshmen or returning sophomores will really have to step up if we are to have any hope of scoring runs. Although, it couldn't be much worse than last season's under-achievers.

That's why these next two years are so important IMO. DiMare needs to right the ship by the end of the '23 season, or it's time for him to go. I know some maintain he's untouchable, but at some point the pressure becomes too great on all involved to do anything but.

That '22 Class is loaded - we need to play a lot better next year and get some momentum/excitement going into next summer.

I've wondered the same thing. I guess the question is whether his heart would be in it, if he's set on a career in science (and what that workload entails) and his brother is gone. Maybe someone else has some insight.

Even if true, can't imagine he'd forego the draft to come to Miami if he thought he was going to sit a year. Also, if he's a legit Top 100 kid, we'll only get two years from him if we don't play him right away. The onus is on these coaches to develop these stud freshmen a lot better and faster...

That makes more sense to me than as a middle IF since we'd be bringing him for his bat, especially given our shaky OF situation. And I don't see Yoyo playing anywhere other than 3B.

Whether the "gones" are accurate or not, Gino had better be pounding the pavement in the transfer portal and/or hire the best hitting coach in the country.
