Official Emory Williams - 2023 QB COMMIT

You point about unranked or lower ranked players is valid. We should not automatically assume that the recruitment of a lower ranked player means we have found a diamond in the rough, no matter which of our coaches likes the player. And we have been thru that enough at UM to be wary of the...

Official Emory Williams - 2023 QB COMMIT

I agree 100% that the fair thing to do with the Transfer rule is give every player a “free” one-time transfer meaning immediate eligibility. Official Emory Williams - 2023 QB COMMIT

Official Emory Williams - 2023 QB COMMIT

Do you really want to pay $3-5 million for Rashada or any other high school QB? Why not spend the money on a proven commodity and get a transfer who is producing. I’m confident Mario and other coaches are thinking of this. Let the yokels at Tennessee blow their load and hope.

Official Emory Williams - 2023 QB COMMIT

I’m not sure paying the NIL money needed for a 5 star QB out of high school is worth the value. I’d rather go get a guy who has been successful for 1-2 years in college and use the money for him. I’d like to see the production before paying upwards of 5 million.

Official Emory Williams - 2023 QB COMMIT

For you old heads, watching the way he throws with accuracy and touch, but not tremendous velocity, decent athleticism but doesn't look over the top athletic, calling audibles (according to the highlights) reminds me of....Steve Walsh. We could certainly live with that.
