I think its a trade off between Michigan's superior O-line and our superior QB. Our O-line did not improve as the season transpired (Gaynor out may have helped) as much as it looked better with TVD because the defense had more to be concerned about and could not dare us to throw as teams did...

Put TVD on Michigan’s offense last year and that team is scoring 40 a game. You guys keep using stats without considering personnel. TVD is an NFL QB and he will make every OC look really good.

Stop looking at Michigan offensive numbers with QB’s like Patterson or the bum who has transferred like 3 times and sucked everywhere he went. If you can find a Gattis offense with a QB talent like TVD then you can make a comparison. But otherwise without similar talent is next to impossible...
