    Got it, on desktop it is the same but on mobile it follows more of a card format and there is no difference between the background of the post and the background of user info.

    You are using the Dark old. You need to switch to Dark to see the dot.

    I did. The only color that is different i the page background and the new style has a slightly darker background.

    On the new styles there will be a dot to the left of topics with new posts. The font will also be folder but that no longer is the only indicator.

    Ok, now Light is the same same colors as Light old. Though I think modern web follows more subtle changes, The difference is very little.

    Light old and Light posts both have a background of #fefefe. The only colors that are lighter on Light vs Light old are the background of quotes and the background of the area where the username and avatar appears. There is also less borders throughout which may make a post appear lighter.

    Outside of honoring some mac font selections, they are in the same order. Is it the font of posts that bothers you or other font?

    You can't change it. The default is the first in the list I posted above. If you don't have the first font then it goes to the second font. Outside of the added mac fonts, the fonts are the same for posts. There are differences in the navigation bar and elsewhere.
