That wasn't dark mode, it was a mess up. Dark mode would like something like this

I haven't created it yet, but I think you are seeing the old theme with dark around the edges. Click the paintbrush at the bottom fo the page.

Users should have the option to browse the site using a "dark" theme and this option should be the default when users have their browsers set to "dark mode".
