No one is criticizing bodanza. We are criticizing the decision not to go to fed and or especially the best closer in the country. Instead we may have to extend the bullpen even more in extras. If you argue this decision you are a homer of the highest order

This one goes down as one of the worst of his career thus far. If I remember correctly. He completely botched the UNC game 2 years ago in the tournament also. Both that game and this had HUGE IMPLICATIONS if we won.

I've said for years that ginos bullpen and rotation decisions have cost this team far too many games over his tenure. If Smith continues to deal I will add him to Gino's resume of pitching blunders.
