Not a chance. He has been terrible as a day to day skipper. Recruiting is great. The guy needs to get his **** together as a manager. I have heard from many different heads that he isn't liked down there and a lot of people think JD should have been given the reigns. I completely agree

Dimare has been borderline terrible managing the pen (has cost us games with mismanagement) Defense may have gotten worse since the Morris days (scary I know) Team can't hit worth a lick unless someone smacks the long ball (situational hitting is as bad as it gets)

I like your optimism but this program really has to show me something. Especially Dimare & company. It's a broken record for far too long.

3 unknowns on the mound. Gates looked great this year but I still haven't fully overcome his issues on the mound his freshman year. I like the bullpen but we all know Dimare will mess that up. Team has to outswing teams next year. Something were not good at. If this team doesn't figure out how...

Starting pitching hasn't been the issue for the canes the last 15 years. Regardless if BVB comes back we have to improve fundamentally. Little things have to become much much better to be a legit threat

Hate on this take all you want but I don't see how this program is even close to Omaha bound in near future unless we are GIFTED a cake walk to Omaha like recent trips.
