Tragic how Terry died. Chicago was never the same afterwards.

That's cool! Drums are my favorite instrument. I have a cousin who's played bass in "house" bands in Dade in Broward counties for over 40 years.

When we saw Rush in Charlotte in 2009, they were LOUD. My wife was not a happy camper. No one sat down the entire 2-1/2 hours.

When I saw Rush in Charlotte in 2009, Peart was on a raised platform with 2 drum sets. Halfway through his solo, he and the platform rotates and he begins to wail away on the other. Simply amazing! IMO, best drummer ever.

Perry has a new solo album out that can be purchased on his website. He's one of my favorites. The guy they have now - Arnel Pineda from Singapore no less- is pretty good but doesn't have quite the range.

Seen Chicago about a dozen times over a 40 year period. First time was at the Sunrise Music Theater in 1979. Allman Brothers, Doobie Brothers, and Lynyrd Skynyrd in the Orange Bowl around 1978 in August. Never sweat so much in my life! Jimmy Buffet at Miami Marine Staduim around 1980. You could...

I can't recall exactly what he was having for lunch, or dinner, for that matter, However, I do recall one of those meals may have had an undesirable affect on his digestive system. Therefore, he may be spending an exorbitant amount of time on his porcelain throne.

It's been over 40 years ago but now that you mention it, that name sounds familiar. They were about the size of a large pear.

I prefer the FL sliced and eat "raw". It's also difficult to determine when they're ripe. Have to agree that the Haas are better in guacamole. I believe the Haas are what most Mexican restaurants use for their guac.

Had a mango and avocado tree in our back yard when I was a kid. Not sure what type the mangoes were but they were bigger than the one in your pic and had a lot of red peel. Used to pick the avacados off the tree and eat them like apples. FL avacados are way better than the Haas.

A big shout out to @njstateofmind for bringing a lot of respite to us Canes from the ills of our wayward team. Even those of us that may disagree on the state of our program have come together for some fun and plenty of laughter at a time when both are much needed.
