I don't know about his arm strength because he has yet to show it at the college level. Maybe it's mechanics. But my main issue with him and all the qbs is can they consistently make throws. I'm tired of watching offenses were the qbs go on these long stretches of not being able to do anything...

The other ones were not difficult throws. He just was dumping it off. And im not against short passes but i like a offense that can stretch the field.

He wasn't throwing the ball more than 10 yards it's not that hard. The only throw that impressed me was when he was rolling to the left and the wr was running to the sideline.

Dude its like me hyping perry up off lighting up fiu. And fiu is better than those teams tate played against. It's easy to look good vs shîtty competition.

All those throws but one were short to open guys. He made one throw where a DB had good coverage. If he is the guy it's goinng to be much different going vs uf as opposed to those teams backups.

Like i said before it isn't all about arm strength but it does help your offense when you have a guy who can push the ball downfield.

Maybe he did but go watch that deep ball he threw at osu. The wr had to stop to catch it. I even watched one of his elite 11 videos and the same thing happened.

Based on his work with his academics i think he is fine upstairs. I clearly said he didnt put in the work needed last year and everybody knows this. And a good qb coach can absolutely help a qb with his decision making and understanding of what to do and what not to do.

This is a guy who has never really been coached until this year. And he wasn't ready to play last year because he didn't put in the work he needed too. Add that on top of richt's offense and you get those results.

My issue isn't the arm strength. My concern is with how he reportedly looked as a passer in spring. And from hearing a former coach at osu(yeah he a piece of shît) say he was very average as a passer, to the talk that ryan day moved on because he didn't think martell could throw well enough in...

@Roman Marciante so do you think tate can pass well enough to be the guy? He struggled badly in the spring throwing and had issues with it at osu too. And do you think enos will change his offense for tate? I don't think he fits what enos typically likes at qb.

All i care about is having a legit competition. And i hope that's what diaz and enos are doing. Let these guys compete and let it be settled on the field.
