Question is. If Miami goes 12-0 and loses ACC champ to Clemson. With our week schedule and SEC bias, do we get in?

8-4 Pitt would get in over the 12-1 team... Yes Assuming ACC is a top 5 conference.. If Liberty goes 13-0 and wins conference and is ranked 10th, then no Pitt. That 12-1 team would probably get in as well.

Is it better to finish 3rd in your conference with this format? As opposed to losing your conference championship?

I like that no team will get a bye on a loss. Horrible that teams got in on losing their last game.
