Oh. He’s not going to do what Saban does as a recruiter. I think this day and age has changed a lot though. NIL can make up for a lot. Look at Napier early on when they threw all that NIL flash in June/July. Mario has to win this year. We really need to show progress or it’s going to catch us IMO.

I would have more faith in DeBoer winning as opposed to Mario whether it’s at Miami or Bama. I would take him as HC over our guy without a second thought.

He’s done far more with far less than Mario has done. What matters ultimately is what you do on the field. Recruiting is supposed to help get you there but recruiting isn’t the ends it’s a means. Mario’s a great recruiter. Meanwhile on the field this is what each took over and what they did...
