I get it. I guess I just think it's sad comparing him to successful coaches, when he doesn't even stack up well against the Al Goldens, Randy Shannons, and Mario Diazs of our painful, recent past. I love that he can recruit, and I know we need more talent. I just wish we had a coach that...

Solution? Hire a coach that can get the most out of his talent on game day. Stop hiring guys just because they look the part or have ties to Miami.

It was a terrible call. He was indeed down. However, like one of our past great coaches said, you don't leave the game in the hands of the officials. We did just that by not taking a knee.

Maybe if he didn't suck so bad, and have numbers to prove it, we wouldn't see so many "Mario sucks" threads.

Al Golden had more wins in his first two years, and he inherited a **** of a lot worse situation than Mario. Forget comparing Mario to championship coaches. Compare him to our recent failures and he still falls short. That's scary.

I'll add another variable. All those other coaches knew how to take a knee. ****, Randy Shannon and Al Golden knew how to do that.
