Can’t argue Harbaugh’s results other than he most assuredly had the resources to aid in those results. I know, Mario has similar resources now but the the lack of resources in the recent past at Miami added to the challenges. I’m not ignoring Mario’s lack of immediate success. My main point was...

So ****** what? If you prefer to walk around with your head in the sand and not look at the overall big picture, so be it.

If we have enough self awareness, there are times throughout life when we have a self reality check and come to the realization that what we’re doing ain’t working and we need to take a different approach. Hopefully, Mario has come to that realization and is open to changes in his approach to...

2 years. Again, comparing apples and oranges. Even taking a deep dive into the countless variables between the 2 programs overall would reveal not many similarities.

    The Bank (1/8)

Again comparing apple and oranges. There are countless variables that contribute to each situation differently. Michigan is a blue blood program with the most wins in CFB history. I’m not being a Wolverine homer, that’s just facts. Miami is not, and never will be, in the same stratosphere.

Just for context, Harbaugh’s been at Michigan since 2015. Not saying Mario needs 8 years to get to that point, but it didn’t happen at Michigan overnight

I don’t think you’re the only one that thinks he could be nice. He’s played a lot of football as a starting QB - albeit at the FCS level - but he’s got some solid talent and an underdog mentality. I’m very interested to see how he does with P4 level talent especially OL.

    The Bank (1/8)

I’ve said many times there are countless variables in any coaching situation so comparing one to another isn’t really even apples and oranges. Blue blood Michigan has the most wins in CFB history. We’re not even close in comparison - past or present. Even comparing one HC to another within the...

I love underdogs. Been one **** near my entire life and was highly successful because NO ONE could/would out work me. I get that vibe with Poff. I’m pulling for the young fella. He may not be the next - you name the highly rated QB - but I think he’ll come in and work his *** off to be the...

    The Bank (1/8)

I agree that 15-0 wasn’t even on anybody’s radar (well, except a few maybe LOL). I believe 8 wins was a reasonable expectation for year 2 with 9 or more a bonus. Not hitting 8 was disappointing to say the least. 9 wins this year is the floor. I think Mario is well aware of this thus going all...

I have no doubt Mario will/can out work anyone. He was facing an uphill battle at best when he came home. Not acknowledging that battle is disingenuous. I also have no doubt his results of the past 2 years are eating him alive. I sincerely hope he adjusts his leadership approach and like you...

    The Bank (1/8)

I certainly won’t give Mario passes for his failures on the field (we all know what they are/were) nor his seemingly inability to make decisive staff decisions (there very well be some backstories to these situations) but we also can not discount the fact that he walked into a program that was...

    The Bank (1/8)

I recall the character red flags being mentioned but it’s gotten swept under the rug as usual because it doesn’t fit the narrative of whiffing on QB’s.
