Definitely agree. And I'm not sure there IS an answer, since a lot of players ANNOUNCED they would be entering the Portal even before the Portal opened. So it's uncertain how changing the date would change the opt-out. The bowl games are played between December 16th and January 8th this year...

To be fair, I've said the bowl games are worthless for decades. I do want to win any bowl game that we are in. But in the current situation, with all the NFL/Portal opt-outs, most bowl games are more worthless than ever. Maybe a few rules could be changed, like either "delaying" Portal entry...
