My comment comes from an article earlier in the season, where a ‘person inside the program’ stated that Mario spends too much time focused on things that don’t matter. I translate this as Mario focusing on micromanaging too much, which to me is ‘overthinking everything‘.

I hear ya, and I agree. Winning is fun. My point is the team often seems to play uptight and disinterested.

And another thing… Does this team ever look like they’re having fun? Ever? I’m not talking about just today, but almost any game the last two seasons. I know Mario is a grinder and a workaholic and that’s respectable but I’ve always thought a team needs to have fun out there. Play loose, but...
