We still get back to Mario only having TVD as the primary option. Thus, they went super conservative on protecting him which caused a **** ton of issues. Once they were willing to get out of max protect, the offense worked again even if we gave up negative plays on sacks.

IMO, it is pretty complex. Redzone failures- we didn't target Young and instead targeted Young, X, and ran it. We also didn't pass out of bunched formations much (see below). Hardly ever went to the one-on-one match-ups out wide. Zero TE play. Max protection- we tended to have 3 out in routes...

What I still don't understand is why are we freaking targeting Smurfs in the Redzone vs Young? The 2nd P5 TD for Young came against BC! Lots of blame to go around and I'm pointing at having 3 QBs as the biggest issue... all others are breaking up blame: bad throws, bad calls, injuries...
