Makes sense. Kinda splitting hairs asking about Mario since he’s got more responsibilities than just the OL. I still put Raymond in the same category as Mario as a position coach. Not many rival their combination of coaching and recruiting their position groups.

I also think Raymond could be a difficult fit with Kirby/Muschamp being DB guys. I’d imagine Raymond wants autonomy and I think that’d be difficult with those two there.

You’d rate him above Cristobal as an OL coach?

Their defense was bad at all three levels. It’s easy to scapegoat the biggest name on the staff for the collective failures. Maybe he’s over the hill but I’d have to see him fail at multiple stops to come to that conclusion personally.

I think Raymond and Guidry would fit well together. Both LA guys, both DB coaches by trade. I don’t want to speak out of turn. Not sure what the issues he had at UF are, but I’d imagine some staff/mentality differences probably contributed to some of the issues on that team. We can all hate on...
