    Yup. They were jumping it all night starting around the 2/3 quarter I believe. I think this is what Mario meant when he said FSU made adjustments…combined with the run blitzing and going 2 man.

    They are run blocking because the pass option is a bubble to X See George. He’s turning like that because he missed his block. If 17 throws it, it’s a pick 6. If he was just run blocking he would have moved onto the next man because his man, FSU 7 ran past the run play with his angle

    He’s not reading the edge, he’s reading the apex linebacker / slot corner to see if he’s crashing on the run which would open up the screen pass / curl.

    The only thing I can think of is that our D line depth got completely nuked then and Mario realized he had to limit possessions and the time our defense was on the field which led him to install a more conservative game plan. Not saying I agree; but I’m sure that was a discussion.

    What does a QB speed have to do with RPOs? Are you thinking Read option? We ran RPO all night Saturday and just didn’t throw it because it’s not a real “option” or it wasn’t open. I made a thread about this.

    I don’t know what people are watching but that’s not the offense we have been running…especially since GT. Run game is much different
