Does UNC beat Miami without TEZ Walker..

This is incorrect. When your opponent is in FG territory/on the verge of it you always back them up. More coaches than not even take a penalty and replay 3rd down 10 yards back in that situation. You have no idea what play they would’ve ran or if it would’ve worked bc Gudiry’s call would’ve...

Does UNC beat Miami without TEZ Walker..

I agree that’s not close to the worst he’s done, but that choice ended the game. If the defense gets off the field or holds them to a FG, it’s still a game. Getting beat deep on that 3rd and long was not only a gut punch, but it was a realization that the DBs couldn’t stop them. It was the the...

Does UNC beat Miami without TEZ Walker..

The only reason for that is maybe they assumed Carolina was gonna run it to get into FG range. If not I don’t get it. Does UNC beat Miami without TEZ Walker..

Can anyone explain why Mario declined that holding penalty that would’ve put them in 2nd and 30 and pushed them way out of FG range? I know they hit the bomb on the ensuing 3rd and 20, but realistically they only needed 5-8 yards on that play to kick a FG.

If not Walker, it would’ve been Jones or McCollum. Fact is whoever they matched up with Davis and Couch would’ve done the same thing. If Kam wasn’t playing his assignment against the best WR on the field, what makes you think he does it against anyone else?
