Yep between 2011-2012 he really elevated Jacory and Morris to a level that was night and day without him. Best hire Golden ever made

Good post, solid points. Y’all know this whole “Roman Empire” **** going around? Well my Roman Empire is Jedd Fisch.. I always wonder “what if” when it comes to 2013 season. He did wonders with Jacory in 2011 and then towards the end 2012 had the offense HUMMING. Last four games of the year -...

Jacory & Kaaya were both better than Morris. So was King. In fact I’d say Morris was the worst QB Miami has had to start more than a season since Kyle Wright. He stunk when teams sat back in cover 2. Cannon for an arm, but as soon as Jedd Fisch left… so did any hype for Morris.

I’d argue Leinhart had a very easy journey as well.

Post Dorsey: Miami QBs vs Ranked Opponents

IMO Dorsey is a top 5 college QB of all time. Don’t think it’s really close. Edit: This was in terms of resume, not pure talent. - highest win % ever by QB in modern era - 2X national champ (yeah I said it) - 1st team AA - 2X conference POTY - 3X conference champ - Longest win streak ever by...

So he struggles with consistency from time to time… But when he’s on he’s the best QB we’ve had since Dorsey and it’s really not close. A&Ms last four games? Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas & Auburn - all four teams combined for 5 TDs passing - TVD did that alone.

Which is realistically my case for TVD. People who think he’s average are funny, compared to what we’ve had the past 20 years.

Wiki is wrong. You should update that for them. He had 22TDs in 2004.

In 04 he had 2,650 yards, 22TDs & 5INTs - this was worse season than TVDs 10 games in 21’. As for coaching failures, you could literally say the same about every QB on this list, so that’s nullified lol

TDs and INTs still apply the same though. Even worse when the under center QBs (Berlin, Wright) threw the ball on average 10 times less a game yet just as many turnovers.

No chance. He led a great comeback vs UF… yet the reason we needed that comeback was because of him. He’s the sole reason 03 team lost to VT & Tenn. Not to mention he had triple the talent as TVD did & a top 5 defense in UM history in 03. In fact if Berlin is just average Miami probably wins...

14 games (12-2 record) UM doesn’t officially list him as starter of Gator Bowl in 2000. 256 YPG, 33TDs, 13INTs - 39 PPG.

Best single game by a UM QB I’ve seen was King vs NC State in 2020. Either way, 4 games (1-3 record vs ranked) 255 YPG, 7TDs & 5INTs - 26 PPG

Post Dorsey: Miami QBs vs Ranked Opponents

Here’s the stats for any QB to start 5 or more games vs top 25 opponents after Dorsey graduated. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions Brock Berlin -11 games (8-3 record) - 210 YPG, 11TDs, 16INTs - 22 PPG Kyle Wright - 12 games (3-9 record) - 175 YPG, 10TDs, 12INTs - 15 PPG Jacory Harris -...
