I'm from NY so it's basically all Ricans and Dominicans up here. So when I fly down to Florida, I try to eat Cuban food. I don't really eat Cubans. I'm a ******* weirdo. I know. While in Tampa, I'm gonna go grab a cigar, bahaha. Soak in the local flavor.

I go to this spot near my mother's house. It's called the West Tampa Sandwich Shop. It's a small spot, hole in the wall, just how I like it. They sell so many Cuban Sandwiches that they keep like 100 prepped and ready to press. Check this out:

If the croquetas are better at La Finca, I need to try them. I will try to stop by in a few weeks. I thought Islas Canarias' were great, but I'm not trying to engage in croqueta debates, lol

Last time I drove up to watch a game, I stopped at Islas Canarias for some croquetas de jamón. Now I don't know how close this is to you, but I highly recommend you consider this family friendly gem.
