Aventura does have a lot of places that aren't chain orientated but yea I hear ya... After the fact he mentioned he wanted stuff near Miramar so that goes way west from where I was putting him...

It is local... a few miles at the most... not far at all.. Google it.. you'll see..

The village at Gulfstream Park has a bunch of places.. Texas de Brazil is good there.... a bit pricey but you get fed big-time... Go south from there into Aventura and there's a ton of places to eat... look it up and see what interests you... lotta variety..
