They mix and match the corners based on who’s lining up for the opponent. We have big corners that can match up against tall receivers and we have shorter, quicker guys who can match up against quicker, smaller receivers. We are much better overall at corner than we were last year.

The difference being that the guys who transferred to Miami were starters and impact players on their previous team. The only guys transferring to New Mexico were scrubs who never saw the field at their old school.

New Mexico might be the worst FBS program in the country. They were 130th in the nation in scoring last year. They went winless in conference and only beat one FBS team last year. Don’t take too much from this game. Miami Ohio would boat race the Lobos.
