100% agree with this. I thinks this is half the reason CIS is so cynical right now. It would have been so much better if they had set expectations correctly and talked about what a battle all these guys would be. Or maybe they should have just STFU.

Most kids are smart enough to know that if the deal is in the same ballpark, they need to look at the total package, and that includes fit, happiness, coaching, exposure, NFL prospects, personal brand. I know there are companies and people I would never want...

It's a great point. I really wish we had been able to convince one of them to go out prior to Franklin. Maybe it means our budget is bigger than we thought and we really can afford two more? The investment decisions are all on Mario, Rad and the collective at this point.

Agree wtih this. Kid has talent. But Breland, Stone (and Scott) are all more talented. If we can't afford two NIL auctions, I would stick to our reservation price on Franklin and use the money to land one of the others. JMHO... And we still need to put a lot of money on the table for one more...

I agree with this wholeheartedly. You need BOTH the national elite kids and good evaluations. Nothing wrong at all with bringing your own recruits into the pipe from your network. But there's a reason we were/are going after nationally recognized recruits like Scott, Stone, Franklin, Breland, A...
