This is a good post here. I think the only difference that I want you to consider in all this is that last year was Year 1 for NIL and we were prepared for it with Ruiz who was hungry. Many other schools weren’t as organized and prepared, some of whom were pushing bags first. We beat those guys...

We can have NIL that can match others and have other things that don’t like under the table bags. This is in addition to the impact of last season and various other things.

I think we’ll just get matched as we up $ on the NIL side.

We’ll miss on all IMO. We don’t have the track record our competitors have and they all have extra funds as part of an under the table process we don’t utilize, plus conferences and other things. Pretty depressing actually.

I agree to an extent yeah - money is a major equalizer.

Norvell and Napier. There’s a Money element going on that’s out of a coach’s hands and making differences. These two didn’t all of a sudden have lightbulbs turn on and become recruiting gods.

We actually can ban you from the recruiting board if that’s what you want. I don’t recommend it though.

That’s been my question to a few off the board. Are we just being used as the boogeyman to up deals elsewhere and we’re not even a legit player in these recruitments?
