McConathey will easily be 250+ by fall. He will put big pressure on Kelly & Wayne to produce on the edge. This kids motor and pursuit are crazy. He won't be denied once you factor the teaching he'll get from JT.

Moss was an outlier. Most D1 prospects will have minimal issue gaining weight. People quickly forgot Rousseau was a 6'6" 210 pound receiver/safety prospects and gained 35-40 pounds in a year. Putting 20 pounds on Lightfoot & Pickett won't be some monumental task.

Is everyone going to now assume a lighter player can't gain weight going forward simply due to the outlier that was Cyrus Moss ?

He's an EE. I think McConathey is the d end we have who gets immediate PT, he's already 235 I think and also an EE.

He'll gain the first 20 easily, it's the latter 20 that takes serious work in the weight room + strict dedication to your diet to achieve.
