If you ever thought the hate wasn't real...

I remember a guy saying he went to watch Jammi German and James Burgess to see what all the hype was about with our new incoming freshman. He said he left practice that day and discovered Ray Lewis was not only the best freshman but the best player on the team. We got a steal.

I believe he had a drug addiction problem after his injury and that was part of his downfall. But yes Charles Rogers is one of the best college WRs and draft prospects ever. Was supposed to be the second coming of Randy Moss. He had very similar athletic traits and size.

We had several players from that era on the juice. A lot of guys were taking stuff then. Just look at Tony Mandarich he was on every PED known to man.

I’ll be crucified for saying this but he may be the greatest college player ever. Not so much in the pros though.

Berry was a stud at Tennessee he’s probably my favorite non Miami player in the last 2 decades. Bennie was a beast though he’d be right in the conversation with these 3. I think Dre was better he’s the best WR we’ve ever had IMO including Michael Irvin and the others. Nothing away from Santana...

Boz was a good college LB but I wouldn’t put him anywhere near the top20 college players of all time.

They didn’t even give him the Thorpe award despite him being the best safety I’ve ever seen with my own eyes. Had he not got murdered I think he could’ve went down as a top3 defensive player to ever play the game regardless of position.

If you ever thought the hate wasn't real...

Absolute joke of a list… No Miami players at all. Ed Reed and Sean Taylor both can make a case as the best safeties in CFB history. Dan Morgan was better than Brian Bosworth… Pretty sure Hugh Green was a DL not a LB also Warren Sapp was a better DL… Not to mention where tf is Reggie Bush...
