Dear Miami Hurricanes, Everywhere,
What a run!
Our Men’s Basketball team has had an exciting and historic ride all the way to the NCAA Final Four. The grit, determination, and resilience with which our student athletes...
Yet we ran both Duke and Wake off the court, both of which had a big size advantage. UConn combined the size of multiple big men with some very athletic guard play. There's a reason why they're about to win the national title.
Gotta be appreciative of this team and this season. First ever final four for the Canes.
Its really the first season where I gave a **** about Canes basketball. ****, I liked this team so much that I even attended my first ever Canes basketball game this season.
Correct me if Im wrong but if he passes it from the back court doesnt it need to be touched in the front court prior to the 10 second mark? If so, it was not.
We didnt lose because of the refs but they sure didnt help us in any way.
UConn was just more well prepared. They knew how to attack us on D and their size advantage was really the big difference. The Canes best shot was to launch a bunch of contested three's, but they were too focused on...
Agreed.
Its a hole in his game that Ive noted all season long. He needs to learn to slow his dribble at the 3 point line then re-accelerate to the basket if he so chooses. His all out sprint with the ball into the lane gets him into trouble quite often. He's often athletic enough to get...
There are definitely some adjustments we can make on offense. Defensively we need more of a team effort. Beverly plays too slow on D for my liking. Walker needs to do something positive... ANYTHING.
I'll say it again, Wong needs to shoot. He's too focused on driving the lane. He's had a couple mismatches where he could have gotten his 3 point shot off and instead he chose to drive towards UConn's height advantage. Not smart.
Be a bigger team. More prepared. They're keying on Miller when he gets a size advantage he likes to turn his back and change direction. UConn is waiting for it. This is an incredibly well prepared team.
IMO Wong needs to attack from the outside. He's too quick to attack the paint...
